So as to avoid last minute panic in UGC NET, the below mentioned should be borne in mind: - Make sure to keep all the documents : You must carry with you all the crucial papers viz. Admit Card, Photo-Id Proof etc., before reaching UGC NET Test Center. All these documents should be kept in your bag or folder a day before the examination. It is suggested to keep pen and other stationary items in the bag. This will lessen unnecessary stress on exam day. Be there before reporting time : Start your journey after making a special provision for traffic jams on the exam day so that you can reach Test Center well in time. Timely arrival at Test Center releases half of your tensions. Stress Management : Managing stress at the Test Center is one of the requisites. Burst your nervousness at Test Center by making friends and having discussions with them for a meanwhile. You should take a healthy breakfast before moving for examination center, this will keep your mind refreshed. Abide by the Guidelines : You must go through a certain guidelines of UGC NET that are prescribed on UGC Website a day before. Adhere to these guidelines on examination day. In case of any confusion, assistance of the invigilators must be sought and his/her instructions must be followed at all the phases of the examination. Violation of UGC guidelines may lead to cancellation of your candidature. Handling OMR Sheet : The OMR sheet is to be handled with utmost care as they are irreplaceable after usage. Refrain from folding and rolling the OMR response sheets and ensure there are NO wrinkles on them either, as this will mar the readability of the sheets through the machines. Hand over the OMR answer sheets to the examiner once the examination gets over. Words of Caution : Indulging in any kind of unfair practices is strongly discouraged. Ensure that you do not carry books, mobiles and gadgets of any kind into the examination halls. Any means of cheating or copying as well as exchange of the answer sheets between two candidates is deemed liable for disqualification. The Right Approach : Ensure that go about the examination in an approach that is a mix of being selective and systematic. Thoroughly read and assess the question paper and attempt the questions that are easy to solve and simple for you. Do not spend excess of time on any single question and jump to the other questions in this case, leaving this question for the last. Attempts at all questions would be beneficial since there is no negative marking and at the end, thoroughly assess the answer sheet so as to make sure that you have not left any question unanswered.
